A film about nuclear attack on Kansas and its consequences. This 1983 film, shown nationwide on TV, sparked the Nuclear Freeze movement and made Nuclear Winter a widely understood consequence of a nuclear exchange.
The program will include a discussion of emotional responses to the film, and medical, first-responder and environmental consequences of a nuclear attack and the importance of preventing it.
